My mom took me thrifting and told me to get something for my self so I thought I'd share with you what I found. Also my hubby brought me a toy home yesterday he got from a junk man for free. This is a picture of it. [: The cloth napkins are what I got to take one more step in being greener and also money wise. Hope you all have a great day. Karen

Yep, the toy was free and it is a riding toy. It is in very good shape the only thing missing was the battery cover and with a little tape the batteries stay in and everything works just fine. I love old toys, maybe with them I'll have an excuse never to grow old! Thanks for all your great comments! Karen

Great apron and hankies. I love the napkins with the fruit on them. What a great toy and it was free?! It sure looks like it's in pretty great shape!

Hey Karen! Is that a kiddie's ride toy? I saw a ride toy just like it today outside of a resale shop here in town today.
That's so cute!!

I love that apron!! I have a weakness for the old toys too & old holiday ornaments, especially halloween & Christmas ones.

Great finds, Karen. Of course you have to get something for yourself and I am glad you did. Love the toy though. My Mother has always used cloth napkins, ever since I can remember (like a thousand years ago). It just seems nicer. MB

fun treasures miz georgia peach! i stopped using paper napkins eons ago .. fabric is so easy to wash with a quick hit of the iron. and you can use any fabric you love .. jus' rip and tear .. don't even reeeeeely need a hem either!

i often buy fabric for napkins to match any party i might be having. can re-cycle it into dolly dresses too!

Love that Apron Sugar!!

I've started Using REAL Napkins this last year or so too..
Funny.. everyone seems to really LOVE the idea too..
All my Neices & Nephews are even getting into it.. they go right for the cubbard in the dining room now to help set a table with REAL Napkins.. rather then an old paper towel.. which a couple of years ago may have been the Norm!

Good For us huh?

Cute Airplain too.. i can't tell is it a Teeny toy..? or is it a Nice Riding one.. Looks like a riding one..?
