The weather today is summer perfect. The air smells great, the wind is still, sunny, not humid, but very warm. So I went outside and took a few pictures after I watered everything.
Going to make some cookies now, don't like that jar to be empty, doesn't look good for a GRAMMY cookie jar to be empty, its not easy keeping up that image, especially when I feel more like 30 not 60. HA. But then thats A good thing I guess.
We were at a big theme park yesterday with the whole family, then toward evening they cooked all kinds of good stuff on the grill, and then we came home. They will all be home today, they camped over.

Nancy Jo - I grew up in Illinois and we had those dry breezy summer days, but the north that is the northest I ever lived was Connecticut where I lived for a little over a year in 1969-1970. There was not even air-conditioning in the townhouse in Manchester. The windows were open all summer, and there were days in August where it got a little too hot, but otherwise, it was so nice to be open to the fresh air all the summer long.

Your house looks absolutely beautiful, grammy. :) I remember those summer up north days. Loved them. They are different from ours down here....drier and more mellow. Enjoy!
