Lucas and I finally watched The Bucket List (with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson) last night and we laughed and cried! What a sweet movie. And such a sweet concept...

So, what's on your bucket list (the list of things you dream of doing before you kick the bucket)??

I would love to see Ireland and Holland, where some of my ancestors are from. I want to take my children to all 50 states...make sure they know how to haul hay and sleep under the stars...participate in one of those 50+ mile bike races and finish...celebrate my and hubby's anniversary EVERY year until I kick the bucket. Laugh so hard I cry at least once every week of my life.

How about you?

MaryJane's daughter,

Meg

I've traveled for 45 of the 50 years I've been around so.....

My big wish is waking up with my Thomas and being able to make the statement, "Ya know, I've lived in this home in this town for 25+ years".

my travels have been good because I've seen so much of our beautiful country and meeting people from different regions is very nice. I believe it makes for a well rounded person being exposed to many different styles of living. Also, makes you proud of where are from and fun to share things about your culture that others have just heard about.

It's good for the soul to get out and have an adventure. I've had mine and am ready for a local adventure..LOL

My bucket list:

Travel everywhere (I love traveling)
Marry my boyfriend of 4 years
Have 2 children
Learn French
Keep a journal of my life that I can share with my children and grandchildren
Get a good career
Do as many knitting/crocheting/sewing projects as I can
Own a farm with alpacas as well as animals and crops for my family's use

I have yet to see this movie. Hubby wants to see it, too. So that's #1 on my bucket list.
To live debt free.
To see my kids and grandkids HAPPILY married or just happy.
To grow each day closer to God and His will for my life.
I would love to go to Ireland, but will have to wait for a bridge to be built first.
I guess the most important thing I want to do before I kick the bucket is to be able to say I have been truly happy and have done the best I could have possibly done with this life God gave me. And to be able to hear "Well done, my good and faithful servant" when it's all over.

Campout with our best friends in the summer for the next 50 plus years, giggle with my kids everyday, start a regular game night with friends, keep a regular yoga practice, travel to National Parks across the west, Sweden, Italy, Nepal, India, Africa.... someday I would love to see my kids find adulthood to be as thrilling as I do!

How about learn to speak at least two foreign languages; i.e., French and German, maybe Swedish. Visit my hometown of Alliance, NE at least once a year. Have my own acreage and studio to quilt in.

That's enough.

I saw that movie too, I loved it. But I love those two actors too!! My bucket list would consist of having a little building that is my own special hideaway out in the farthest part of our little five acre plot. A real honest to goodness "studio" where I can really spread out and work on my gourds. And I really really want a REAL beautiful wedding.

My Bucket List!

Travel Europe esp. England, France & Italy
Go on a misssion trip to a far away place
Take my family to Yellowstone at least once, but more would be awesome!
See the Grand Canyon
Teach my kids to Love God, live simple and be joyful over nature's wonder.
Grow to an old age with my husband and sit on the porch, drinking coffee and watching the sun come up.
Expand my farm and live off the land as much as I can!
Invest in the lives of others, grow friendships, enjoy family and spread love!
