I don't know which to envy more, the books or the pool! Well, it doesn't usually get up to 95 here, so I guess the kiddie pool I bought myself is good enough. And I can read while sitting in it. I may have to order those books.

They're in bookstores. Ooooh Aaaaah. Gotta go outside and read. :)

I thought they weren't coming out until the end of July? Maybe it depends on when you ordered it?

I wonder if they are in bookstores yet? I'm so glad you have yours and are enjoying them. I'm so curious. I enjoy the way you are oohing and aahing, but not really giving anything away. I do love surprizes! Can't wait to ooh and aah myself. :)

Jenny,
I will keep my fingers crossed for you....It's perfect!

JoAnn,
It sounds wonderful. Our cabin is above Dayton.. It has been in my husbands family for 100 years, there is a beautiful river for fishing and me get berries and mushrooms and it is great! I really love being there when it rains.... Amazing! We had Christmas there this year with about 5' of snow... nearly perfect (2 of my kids werent there.. they are in the military) otherwise it would have been perfect!

Rene' We moved here 4 years ago. I love it here. Just the drive into town is so beautiful! But shh we don't want to get the word out and be inundated with newcomers: ) Our "outpost" is a cabin in the mountains that's exactly 36 miles from the front door of our home.No electricity, water from a permanent stream, and Jim has a 5 min. walk to a lake where he can always get a couple meals worth It's completely different and winter stays two months longer there! The drive to the cabin is even more beautiful. Every time we go we comment on how lucky we are. The Blue Mountains are equally as beautiful. We looked into moving to Joseph Oregon but it was a little pricey. My sister-in-law is thinking about moving to the Walla Walla area so we can visit them and bop on down to the Blue Mountains! The best of all worlds. Back to the book, JoAnn

Haha Sam. Yes we have a pool. I am originally from Vermont and these Arkansas summers killed me. My husband wanted to keep me around so we got a pool about 5 years ago! The cool thing is that it is a salt water pool with a chlorine generator. There is a very low level of salt (you can't even taste it) and when it passes through the generator some sort of reaction occurs turning it into chlorine. Eventually it turns back to salt and then repeats the process. I don't actually have to add chemicals to it! You are welcome down anytime!!!!

2 days to AR from AR is good! LOL! Just kidding but it does seem like the 3-5 business days never applies to us. Congrats on the book and you didn't tell me you had a POOL!?!?!? That might be worth coming to that chapter you've got...what's a 2 hour drive when there's a POOL at the end of it? I need to order that book and more foodstuff also but I'm going north to Iowa next week to see the "children"...I'm hoping they've grown up since I last saw them. LOL....just a few of them but I won't name names. And my namesake grandson is turning 1 year old on the 5th of July so I want to be there for that and another son is due to have his first on the 14th....I may be up there all summer at this rate! But I got a laptop so never fear...I will still be here! I actually should order it now though so it will be here when I get back but on the other hand I could probably buy it at B&N when I get there. I forget they have those stores....I've been out in the boonies too long!
Enjoy the book and the pool AND the ac....
