Hi all, MaryJane Lee & I are back from our fun filled week in McCall,ID. with our "Sisters on the Fly" womens fishing group...and no we didn't fish this time and yes we spent a ton of money yard saleing & antiquing or should I say Junktiquing....lol!
But unfortunately MaryJane received some sad news, her brother-in-law had passed away, so she had to fly back home from Bosie instead of coming back to Spokane w/me for more playtime. Please keep her & her family in yours prayers.
I will post pictures of the trip on my blog, but first I have a mountain of laundry to do and I need to clean up the camping trailer,,,any volunteers????
BUt I am back, have a Red Hatters group over on Thursday, a family member here from Switzerland, but once I get past the 4th of July it is clear sailing! yahoo!
I will try to catch up on the antics here at MJF in the next day or two.
hugz to you all
!

Oh Karin, we had such a wonderful time at the Sisters on the Fly gathering.
In fact one of the sisters, Juli, is featured in MaryJanes newest book...how cool is that?
My 'furbabies' were spoiled while I was away, seems my hubby likes to share his frozen dinners with them! lol!
Peekie, also known as 'prissy princess' was so happy to see me when I f got home, she just went into "talk" mode and would not leave my side. She truly is our baby!
Oh & while in McCall, ID...I bought 4 more vintage aprons...I now have 76 aprons....a gal can never have enough aprons, infact after reading an exert from MJ's book, I think I just might have to toss my blue fishing vest and just wear an apron while fishing...wink wink!

Well, what a wonderful bunch of pictures and stories on your blog, it sounds like you girls had a blast. What fun, and how lovely that money was raised for the Susan Komen Fund. The photos are so great, my favorite is the group shot, love your apron, Grace. I have missed reading posts from you, how are those kitties doing?

So glad you got to connect up w/Becky,,,,she & Shorty are just the most wonderful folks and Duke, their Lab, is the biggest 4-legged love dog....
Having dinner at their home on the river was the best, and we all got to watch the most recent video log on Sisters on the Fly.
Twixt & tween my love for S.O.T.F. & MJF, I am one well rounded gal with a fantastic dirt manicure.

Amiee, hang in there, spread the word about MJF. I tell everyone, & have my bumper sticker on the jeep for all to see, so tell your friends, bank clerk, receptionists,,,etc...before you know it, there will be oodles of MJF gals in Madison....remember, a garden starts with 1 seed....so, plant the seed. hugz
p.s. check the 'daily calender' section in your newspaper to see if their are any gardening groups.

Glad you had a good time Grace. Can just see all the trouble you got yourself into with MJ. I agree with Jonni frogs with western gear and aprons would be cute!!!!!

What's wrong with frogs? They're cute :) Especially in aprons and western wear.

oh, if only there was enough time & room to post all the pic's from this trip. I would bore you all to tears! lol!
I checked in w/Maryjane Lee and she is such a sweetie. The family is in good spirits.
I had a pic of MJ and me in out aprons & western wear but I looked like a frog so needless to say....No one is going to see that picture! Hopefully MJ's pic's came out better.
