Hi All,
I have a question.....?????
I have never "blogged", but have spent the better part of the past week reading blog after blog that you lovely farmgirls have written...and continue to write. Anyhoo, is there one blog spot that any of you would recommend to a "virgin blogger"...???? I would love to give it a try...as I have been told on more than one occasion that I am quite loquacious. Might as well put it out there in cyberspace...so everyone will know I'm a bit CRAZY. But what the hay... Please point me in the right direction. I have to say I can only hope that I can be a nano as creative as you blogging farmgirls.

I just found wordpress really easy to navigate. I was constantly having trouble getting my pictures to show up on blogspot. Also where I work the filter blocks all blogspot accounts. I can only see those from home. Wordpress was just a better fit for me.

Thanks Kate for asking because I have been wondering about "blogging" too. What is the cost for this? Is it monthly or based on how much you post? Any info would be appreciated..of course I guess I could log on to their websites and find out...DUH!

Thank you to all who responded to my question of where to blog. I have taken a leap and set myself up on blogger.com...and have found it easy to navigate. I'm sure it will fill my needs...
Check it out and let me know what you think. Still a lot of tweaking to do....but so far I have had fun.

I'm using blogger.com for both of my blogs..although I've got a wordpress account also.
Julie, maybe you can answer this question? Where to I click to change the header code over at Wordpress? I guess I'm overlooking it..it has info on how to upgrade so you can customize the template??
Any help would be appreciated...Meanwhile, I did finally find a 3 column blogger template that I changed the code on for my Fabric & Fiber Blog..So I like that much better than the 2 column.

i have had a lot of trouble with blogspot. it posts, it wont posts, it allows pics, it wont load them. i have been thinking of trying another place cause i miss blogging and right now it is in the wont post pics phase.

everyone here seems to use blogger(blogspot) I personally didnt like it at all and moved my blog to wordpress. I am very happy with wordpress.

I am new to blogging too, but have really enjoyed it so far. I use blogspot, also. It was easy to follow their tutorial and begin. Then as you learn, which I am still doing, I think you can get fancier and more advanced in your graphics, layout, etc. Good luck, and let us know your blog address!
