UP stands for the Upper peninsula. I live in a small town called Ewen. I am recently back here to MJFGC after a long absence. I did just put in my garden, and now the cottonwood is done blowing all over the place. I spent my morning cutting the grass, eeekk such a big chore. I posted about county fairs in Gathered up forum, if fairs are your thing. I am a quilter, however I also have taken a big break from that and am working on other projects, art quilts, aprons and the like. I am also married and have four children so I am busy with them and working as an EMT on our rural ambulance. Hope to get to know you all better. hugs Kate

Hi Kate! Loved all the info for Michiganders on your blog. I'm in West Michigan, but we LOVE the UP. I wish I could get up there more often!
