We had a tornado touch down here ,
It missed part of where we live
The lighting and thuder was terrifying
It shook the whole house ; I thought that it struck something here
Heard fire trucks going down our street
It did quite a bit of damage to one of our collages here
and some of the houses around it
I don't believe anyone was hurt which is good news
We use to never have those and now we get them more often
I am glad it didn't strike us

That must have been so scary. I am so glad you are ok. We got a tornado here in Southern California about 2 weeks ago which is very odd. It blew over a train and a semi truck on the freeway. The weather has been very freaky lately all over!

I am glad we don't have those very often
It is going to be in the 90's Friday, Sat, and some next week
We use to have cooler weather
The weather people say we are going to have more stroms and a bit wetter than normal
We really can use the rain, though; but not all at once
I am glad every one is doing ok.

Glad you are okay, Sheila! Tornadoes are the scariest things.
Jonni- Glad to know you have nice weather right now. My sister is in Cincinnati and I was going to call her and see how things were going. (I'll still call her, but I won't be worried. )

Hasn't the weather been weird this year? It was cool and rainy all day here in the desert yesterday. Last night we had a mild thunderstorm go through the area. Penny the Pooch was really upset with it, but otherwise I didn't even see any lightning.

Today the weather is all sunny and breezy. I've mowed the lawn and picked a huge container of ripe strawberries. I have frozen four containers and that is going to be good for winter. Hope to put more by still and share the rest with the neighbors.

Scary!!! We had warnings last night and earlier this morning, but now the sun is shining and the birds are singing.

Glad everyone is safe, though. Sorry you were so frightened...mother nature at her most terrible!

Sheila,
Glad you are ok! It seems like there are so many this year. Here about them on the news everyday. We almost never get the bad ones up here, but you never know.

I'm glad no one was hurt, Sheila. We get tornadoes (usually during May) here in Kentucky, although this season it seems like we had mostly just warnings and not a lot of those.
