Jeannie was asking about where I grew up. I think I posted pictures before but here it is.
Miss Wilma, I took a couple of kithen pictures so you can see where I put the dishes you sent me, also where I found a home for that pretty tin I got yesterday.

That was the first time I have seen those books. Its a TIME LIFE SERIES. I did a fast look at them yesterday, they are nice books. And I couldn't beat the price!

nancy .. the series of country books are wonerful .. i think there are 20 in the set. i've had them for years and use them from time to time for reference. i, too, see them occasionally for a dollar or two and buy them for friends. xo

Nancy Jo - what a place to grow up in.......you lucky girl. I do remember seeing that photo now. I often think if I had enough $$$ I would have purchased our family farm, but alas the real world kept us from it. I felt a sense of peace there that I haver felt again in my whole life.

My Grandpa had them all over a room at the farm. But before he died he gave them all to a collector for a museum.
