still in toledo .. still waitin' on that angel-baby to arrive!

today is frankie's birthday (the dad) .. tomorrow is MINE .. the 12th is honey-hunks.

wednesday saw her doc yesterday .. he said if she does not go into labor by june 15 (father's day) .. he will 'induce' her!!!

she is a full 38 weeks now .. he would like for her to be into her 39th week. june 15 is only two days short of her DUE DATE .. he believes if that chile hangs in .. it will weigh abut EIGHT pounds!

OUCH .. little wednesday has never had a baby that big! (frankie i hear tell was about TEN pounds though!)

how big have YOUR babies been?

heading to town today to SHOPPE for some fun summer clothes for me!

still continue to have great fun with the grandes. i read lucas one of his MAGIC TREEHOUSE "chapter books" every couple nights (we're on book 27 now!) he loves these stories. the 'heros' are JACK and ANNIE .. and they live near FROG Creek, Pennsylvania.

i went through EVERY book and white-outed "JACK" and changed it to "LUC" on each page. did the same with "ANNIE" and changed all those to "SOFI" .. and i changed all the FROG Creeks to SWAN Creek .. and Pennsylvania to OHIO. (their back yard IS SWAN CREEK!!) I love how if i ever 'miss' one and say Jack or Annie .. he IMMEDIATELY corrects me .. (shows me he's listening closely!) this is a wonderful memory i am making with lucas. took him to see NIM'S ISLAND. He was a little scared of the 'hurricane' scene and when the dad was in peril on the boat in the middle of the ocean!

SOFIA continues to AMAZE me with her antics .. expressions (QUITE THE LITTLE ACTRESS .. and LOVES to dress up in pretty shoes, hats and purses!) she will REPEAT any and everything you say .. has an incredible vocabulary (she is 20 and a half months).

it would be nice if the baby was born on june 15th .. cuz'
lucas was born on the 15th of august and sofia on the 15th of september.

well, i best get offa' this machine and get to town.

hope you are all having a fun, fun, fun summer! xo

thanks for the well-wishes gurlfrenz. ha .. my hair .. when i went to the stylist .. i told her that i did NOT want to look 'normal' or like i'd had my hair done when i left the salon. i got my wish!!!

a couple days later i went to another salon at the last minute (honey hunk was on his way here) and asked for her to give me a 'straight' but 'wild' DOOO. she did!

i like it .. but it's not by far my mos' fav style/color i've ever had .. but it is fun to experiment!

had such a wonderful evening .. wednesday and sofia have fallen asleep now .. the 'boyz' are all watching basketball on tv (lucas and i played two rousing games of DEAL or NO DEAL tonight!

i swear, that child is so incredibly beautiful . it is almost hard to look at him withough weeping at his beauty! i know! i know! i'm the GRAMMIE .. but i swear .. if you ever saw him ... you would agree! and such a sweetheart too!

life is grande. xo, frannie

Can't wait to see your hair either! It sounds like you are all having a wonderful time waiting for this little one to make the grand entrance. You know I agree with Wednesday that I think you have to look at their little face and see what fits! Also a very Happy Birthday to you!!!! Looking forward to hearing from you again soon.

Frannie, so sorry you missed Art in the Alley, but I know you had just as much fun (probably more since it rained a flood early that morning!!!!) Hope everything goes well--and soon. Those last few days are torture.

well .. the day is half over .. and no LABOR PANGS yet! last night i was sure she was about to go into labor .. she felt a 'lightening' .. the doctor told her on tuesday when he examined her for 'centimeters' (she's onlyl 1 and a half) that he felt the baby's head!

next birthday would be hank's .. june 12. i doubt she will make it that far .. my guess all along has been june 7th. we'll see!

ha! had to laugh at your calling wednesday 'wendy' miz nancy .. i'll never forget when she could first talk .. my family called her 'wendy' .. and she corrected them in her sweet little baby voice ... saying she was 'wednesday'.. they've called her that ever since. reminds me of when people call me FRAN .. oh lordy! i don't like that name at all! not on me anyhoo. my family always called me FRANCES .. i was an adult when they just kinda' slipped over to calling me Frannie.

speaking of names .. these kids still don't have name picked out for either a boy or girl (or .. they are just saving it as a 'surprize' when the baby is born). wednesday says she always wants to see their little face .. and then she knows their name.

honey hunk arrived last night and i am SUCH a happy puppy. we've had such a nice day together with them .. picnic in the park .. tonight we're doing a cook-out. told them that i get to eat at so many restaurants .. i am looking forward to being here where the kids can run with free abandon .. and we can just relax and enjoy each other's company and talk about the new baby.

oh .. did i mention that i had my hair done DARK BROWN .. with stripes of red and blonde? i just love it!!!

well .. kids .. i'm back to the kids now. (it's HOT here in toledo!) .. i'll check in later! xo, frannie
