Posted - May 23 2008 : 12:11:27 PM Love buttons and yours are really cute Those 2 white ones are old ones I think I have some that are like that ; that were my grandmothers. This button collection would make a pretty button necklace or a button bracelet. pinkroses

Posted - May 23 2008 : 08:34:22 AM Julie....there are lots of great books on the value of antiques by subject. The Kovels (you have probably heard of them) put out lots on different subjects. You might try Amazon Books online.....also you can just put out a search on the internet...for examples try typing in Value of Antique Buttons..I quickly found several sights. I think old buttons are so wonderful....so much history and personality in such little "wonders". Also try going to a Book Store...they are always good sources..... Drop me an email if I can be of any help (I used to have a primitive antique business). I went to a store in Manhattan, NY that just had old antique buttons.....it was really fabulous!! Have Fun!!

Posted - May 22 2008 : 7:55:06 PM Julie, Miss Wilma gave me a wonderful button book. There aren't any "exactly" of the ones you have, but similar to. I'd start with an identification book--this could be a new hobby, and a lucrative one! Some of those more rare buttons go for quite a bit!
