I have been packing and cleaning. UPS came and picked up the burnt-up Kitchen Aid today. I made some bread but it didn't turn out, so I think I will re-try later.

I got together all the jumbled together mail that we had lying around. I opened it all, even the ones that I knew were debts, and got them filed and organized. Now as we have money to pay debt- I can pick one easily and get it taken care of. Now there is no reason to have more than one letter at a time from any one company.

I also picked the last of my tulip buds. These are beautiful! They are the vibrant pink of the other but the edges turn a vibrant orange. They look like a sunset.

Doug got his over-the-phone interview scheduled for next week. We are both very excited! We are hoping that the interview goes well as this would mean there would be no income loss during our move and a better location for our family.

Just got done mowing the lawn. My neighbors on either side had done theirs within the last 2 days so it make ours look even worse! I didn't do a great job because it was so long, but I figure I can do more tomorrow night :D

I worked today, and then I went to Lowe's to get our new pedestal sink and faucet after work. George Bush bought it for us. I was going to wait for Jus to go with me tomorrow night, but thought, nah, he doesn't even know what our shower curtain looks like so he's really not going to care about a white sink!!! With the three day weekend, we'll manage to get it installed.

I did some laundry, and went out in the yard, but it's still very chilly here so not that much fun.

You are sweet Miss Wilma! I have 2 girls, 7 and 8, and a 14 yr. old son. Great kids. How old are your granddaughters?

It is still quite chilly here too. 53 today.

It's fun to read what others did today.

I power cleaned the house. Returned plant trays to one grower and picked up 30 flats for my cut flower garden (my mom joined me and looked so cute surrounded by all those plants - she had to hold several flats due to running out of room in the van). Met with a real estate agent. Spent some time with our half pint horses. Played/chatted with the kids when they came home from school. Took our son to youth group. Got some groceries. Took the girls to a park for a picnic dinner. Now, the kids are in bed, and because my husband is away for work... I have a moment to catch up here.

Diane, you are catching up with your friend from LA, and that is where my husband is for work this week. He will be catching up with my sister who lives there. (He and I both lived there at different times, but I was born and bred in MI).

Have a great day tomorrow all!

I worked for a couple of hours (I do housing inspections once a week), then went to hte farmer's market in town. I found out that there is a farm 3 miles from us that is making organic cheese--yay! I also bought asparagus.

Then I met up with DH in town to hand off the tot so he could go do some work. Olivia and I went to a friend's house and just relaxed. When we got home I started a loaf of bread (rising now), made dinner and then did some homework.

I am excited for tomorrow because my friend from LA will be here for the day

Sounds like everyone had a busy day! Oh my! I am almost done with my second rag rug. Sky is laying on it right now after playing with the yarn ball for a little while. Looks like I need to shred some rags and make Sky her own rag ball :D

Today was "Mad Dash-day" for me. We live in the country, 12 mi's from the nearest town and my kids go to school 13mi's away in the opposite direction. Normally I take them to the bus just 3mi's down the road, but today was a special day for my youngest son. It was his 6th grade graduation, so I drove him and ONE of his older brother's to school (My 18yr old refused to get up so I left him home)

I dashed to the bank (10mi's from his school) and back just in time for the graduation. Then it was back to my friends house just 2mi's from my own. The three of us (her 2yr old son was with us) went to Chico, a town 26+ mi's from where we live. (nothing is close for us!) We picked up a bunch of flowers for the Jr/Sr high school graduations tomorrow (the schools are getting a face lift, so our kids get out 2wks early this year-- they go back Aug. 13th though!)

We got back just in time to pick the kids up from the bus. Now it's time to feed the critters, and my kids, and check for new lambs and see how the chicks are doing. I think the runing here and there wears me out more than all the yard work I did YESTERDAY!! Tomorrow I'm going to help my friend with the flowers and Friday I'm going to shear the rest of my sheep! The weekend will be spent getting the garden planted (FINALLY) and Monday will be "take the kids and myself to Fair day!" YEAH!!! What I REALLY want to do though? Curl up on my bed and take a nice looooong NAP!!! Happy Wednesday Ladies! ~~~Tracy

I played here quite a bit, and read blogs. But I also sent out a newsletter, and I'm doing some research on starting a second blog for vintage recipes and tips. I did pot up some herbs and make dinner too though!

I got up and got ready and took Mom out to get her errands done
Went to Barnes and NObles and got Mary jane's new maga.
I was getting mad at the lady at the check out line
She kept saying that the computer said it was going to be in until June 25 th
I had called yesterday and the guy said it was out
Well
I kept looking and finally found it over in a section with some other books!!!
Came home and took about a 3 hour nap
What with all my diseases and conditons.
I get so tired when I go out I have to come home and rest.
So, that was my day
I have to go out in the morning to a small town to get my medicnes
and then to another place to do my shopping
My car is to small to do both Mom's and my shopping the same time
Besides , I need to go alone to see what I really need. pinkroses

mmmmm..let's see! Went to pre-schooler's field day at school, dropped by the Pregnancy Help Center to see what was new (usually volunteer today but went to field day!), picked up 2 squash plants, peppermint & cilantro plant for the garden! I also bought a backsplash for my kitchen and installed it myself!! Well, most of it, I need a little more material. Now I will chat awhile and it's off to provide dinner for the family and get everyone ready for bed! OH, but not before I put my new plants out into the garden!! Whew! What a day!!(:
