My garden scarecrow needs a good name so I'm having a drawing on my blog. Just leave a comment here or at my blog with a name suggestion for a chance to win a handcrafted primitive bunny that won't nibble at your garden.

I would love to have you stop by if you get a chance to join the fun! The winner will be drawn on May 26th.

Thank you girls for all the wonderful name choices. It was such fun! I drew a name this evening for the winner of my primitive bunny. The winner is one of our very own farmgirls ~ Tina Michelle of Garden Goose! Congratulations, Tina! I'll email you for your mailing address.

One more thing ... I named her Mrs. McGregor after the farmer in Beatrix Potter's famous stories. I just love children's literature!

Why not call her "MaryJane?" She has that sweet, peaceful look about her-- just like our own Queen Bee-- Ms. Maryjane Butters. The gloves, apron and hat are too cute! Have fun with her!

PS-- You have insired me to make my OWN scarecrow lady! ~~Tracy

What fun names! I think I may have to make one screcrow for each name now! LOL My husband would just faint because he has to dig all the holes to set them in.

Jessica, I am still laughing about the flying monkeys! Wouldn't that be a sight? I can just see me with my broom trying to shoo them away. (I have a vivid imagination!)

What a delight! She a pretty scarecrow. I like the name Hay Hilda, instead of Broom Hilda.

you've got me wanting to build a cute scarecrow one day..ha. and I must say..I am memorizing the name that I suggested to you on your blog..so that when I do finally create a scarecrow of my own..I think that shall be her name.(Mommet Tattie Bogle)

i noticed the paisley prints on her apron and was thinking more French....?Suzette Scarecrow?? (but perhaps with with a bolder face, big, black eyelashes and brighter RED lipstick.) or, how about "Lady Scare-Away"....i think thats very elegant and proper!! have a fun-filled day!! sue

Lea,

I LOVE Scarecrows!! Yours is great! One school I taught at was in Albuquerque's North Valley.................A much more rural farming area then where I live....Each year at Harvest Time each classroom created a Scarecrow for a school wide contest. This is a really fun idea that you have come up with!!! >>>>>>>to name the Scarecrow>>>>>> sooooooo I will give it a go...........................how bout "Simply Sarah the Scarecrow".

Until Later,
Audrey
