Gayle, I hope your mom does well. She'll be in my prayers for you. Take a good deep breath under the catalpa if it's blooming. I always felt a sense of calm from that scent. I'm not sure if it's the scent or if it was just me ;).

Wishing you and your family well.

Thank you, Lisa, for the compliments! Isn't the Catalpa Tree (my Mom calls it a Trumpet Tree) beautiful? I was in awe last year when it was in full bloom while I was there for 3 months. I couldn't get enough pictures of it and, yes, the aroma is delightful! Then, we had the family of owls in it and there was a mom and 4 babies and she was teaching them to fly. What a spectacular site that was! I am heading to Billings again tomorrow morning to be with Mom in the hospital and am hoping it is starting to bloom again. It will be a nice refreshment for the stress that is heading our way as a family. Have a wonderful day!

Oh my! Beautiful pictures from bith of you! I am always so amazed when I see the West. Here on the Eastern part of the US, it seems a bit, um, close. Lots of trees. LOTS of trees. I love the openness of the Wetsern half of our country. Thanks for sharing!

Those are some really nice photos, Alee. Your tulips look just beautiful.

Gayle, I really enjoyed your photos, too. Especially the one of the owl with the full moon shining through the leaves of a blooming catalpa. I love the smell of catalpa blossoms. That is such a great shot! You should enter that one in the fair.

Alee, Just a picture or two from Billings, since I don't know if you were able to get any of the ones I tried to send. I won't send too many, though. Hopefully, photo bucket will work for you. It makes me homesick when I see these pictures. Enjoy! Gayle

Alee, I probably won't be in Billings, unless things don't turn out or she doesn't make it through the surgery and she needs someone there on a regular, full-time basis. Then, I will have to quit my job here and move there right away and that could be as early as June. I will keep you posted. The first email I sent to you, bounced back. I guess it was too big for the email account at MaryJanesFarm. So, I took out all of the pictures and deleted some of the message, so hopefully, it will get to you, now. Sorry.

Hi Gayle!

Will you still be in Billings through the end of June? I would love to get together with you for lunch or something.

Oh, Alee! They are all so beautiful! I can close my eyes and feel the cool evening air and feel the softness of the flowers. Thank you for sharing with us. I just sent you an email with some pictures I have taken in Billings and some surrounding areas of Billings, too. I hope you enjoy them. I will be leaving for Billings on Friday morning to go be with mom through her surgery an recovery. Smiles and Hugs...............Gayle
