How much fun does this sound like? I'm going, and thought I'd let y'all know about it in case you can come too.

May 24th at the Dahmen Barn in Uniontown. 6 pm dance lessons, 7 or 7:30 big band music. Sorry to be a bit fuzzy on the exact details, I'll double check the facts and edit.

A barn dance. Ye-haw. Go daddy-oh. :)

Ohh that sounded like a blast! We have civil war events and more historical things like that around here but a barn dance sounds like too fun!
I need to move to Washington..lol!

That WAS fun! Every 4th Sat. of the month, free dance lessons at 6 (donations are nice), followed by big band music by Hog Heaven Big Band (fantastic!) at 7:30 ($8 per couple). It's a all-ages fun family dance night.
If you are in the area, and haven't been by the Dahmen barn to see all the artwork/artisans, you are missing a treat. Good to see thriving community activities in our small rural towns. :)

We make a difference.

I wish I lived closer in too....too far from Central Ohio :-( That sounds so much fun! We may have to have our "midwestern" version for us ladies in this neck of the woods.

Boy howdy does that sound fun! I sure wish I lived closer, or had super hero powers to fly there!
