Posted - May 06 2008 : 5:29:23 PM And what a sweet surprise! Two beautiful dishcloths arrived from Maryjane (Maryjane Lee) in my favorite colors of green and white and cream. From Bertha, a beautiful cloth pear pinkeep that has a lovely scent that I cannot quite place. It is familiar and yet....Please enlighten me!! Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness, ladies. I am grateful indeed for such sweetness.

Posted - May 10 2008 : 3:25:35 PM Tina, I used to listen to John Denver when I lived in NY and it always made me feel homesick even though I had never been to the Rockies! Go figure. His music is very soothing.

Posted - May 10 2008 : 11:53:20 AM Hi Karin, I am new to JMF. I just checked out your blog. I love it. The Omelet Hotel is so cute. I have chickens also (started out as a 4-H project for my boys but quickly turned into Mom's chickens). They are just about ready to move to their permanent home, although their home won't be nearly as attractive as your's. I really enjoyed reading your blog. I will return there often.

Posted - May 08 2008 : 2:30:37 PM Oh, my goodness. I have been so spoiled this week! Today brought a sweet package from Pam, complete with a Georgia Bullfrog that made my kids laugh,he's so cute, an adorable chickie that I think she made, a cute seed packet wall-hanging of cauliflower that will go in the Omelet Hotel, and a sweet pakage of tea. Also, a lovely box from Tina, with the most darling wheelbarrow flower arrangement, a yummy sounding tea, a John Denver cd (how did you know I love his music?), two tea towels, two adorable crow dolls with button legs and one of Tina's permanent cupcakes. THEN, on the porch was a box from MaryJane and Meg!! Inside were the two pinkeeps they took with them when they were at my house, and another box with the sweetest embroidered clothespin sack filled with vintage and antique trim! To top it all off, some yummy bars of dark chocolate (my personal fave). How on earth can I thank you girls enough for your generosity. I am chuffed! And that is a good thing. There will be lots of mail love going out from my post box, you can be sure! Thank you so much.
love- Karin
