I haven't had my hair cut since the first week of September- 2007! Do you think I am a bit due for one?! LOL

How often do you cut/get your hair cut? Do you do it yourself, go to a hairdresser/salon or have friend or family give you trims?

I buzz Doug's hair about every 6-8 weeks. I just clip on my attachment and give him a buzz. It actually looks really good on him. Wouldn't it be a scream if I did that?

I go every six weeks for a cut and color. I used to deny myself this and didn't have a style or anything and used to go to whatever cheap-y chain place nearby when I needed a cut. About a year ago, though, I started scheduling "real" haircuts at a "real" salon - as real as you can find in St. Johns, Michigan, anyway - and I can't tell you what a self-esteem boost I get from it! I went through a long period of being earthy and organic and thought I didn't need to worry about my outside appearance, and one day I woke up and looked in the mirror, and I looked like a bushman. It's nice to look like a girl again. :)

I trim my own bangs and Rose trims the back. I used to trim the back myself, but now it's too long to do it myself and get it straight. I usually have Rose cut it about every 3 months or so - when it starts looking frizzy on the ends.

I took hair dressing in school for 3 years and now instead of going any where else, I just do to myself. They always cut it so crooked anyways. My hair is thick and curly (sometimes it looks like a rats nest no matter what I do to it and I have always wanted straight hair)But it is just easier for me and I think that I do a better job of it as they do not know what to do with the curls.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

I get mine cut about every six months or so. I trim my own bangs (LOL...and sometimes it looks like it!) and I also do my own color (Clairol Natural Instincts). I have my hair pulled back in a ponytail or braid most of the time so no need to really get a cut more often!

Ohhhhh!! I don't trust ANYone now to cut my hair, after my two last, er, 'mishaps'! Finally my hair is growing back and now I'm paranoid about letting anyone touch it. So I have learned to cut backwards, looking in the mirror. It's not perfect by any means, but it's a *(&*(&%*#^*$ better than what the hair places did! I wear my hair in a long layered look so boo-boos can be covered up and hopefully no one notices....or have enough manners not to say anything!!

I'm usually a 3-4 monther, though I think, Alee, it's been since September since I had 11 inches cut off and it's all back. I did go 2 weeks ago, and my bangs have already grown out. I don't do much but get it cut, which is about $14.00. I can't do it myself...being a lefty and handling scissors in the mirror is NO fun :)

I get mine cut about every 6 weeks. When we were getting married, I got small trims here and there and grew it to my shoulders. That didn't last 24 hrs after the wedding as the next morning I went to the first salon and got it all snipped off! I was so tired of long hair. I keep mine pretty short - less fuss, less shampoo, less time trying to fix it. :)

When my hair was really short, I used to "trim" in up in between actual haircuts to keep it cute. When it is longer, I got every 3 months, just because my hair gets dry and breaks a lot.

I get mine cut or trimmed every 3 weeks. Also some kind of color (I'm getting a lot of those white things!!!). She pulls some through a plastic cap and will put a red color one time and a blond color the next time. She keeps something going all the time. I don't change the style much, because I can't do those wild styles.
