I have just posted on my blog my foyer, because several people have emailed me wanting to know what my home looks like. After doing this I began to wonder what is the first thing people see when they come into your home. Is it warm and inviting or are you sometimes like us,like walking into a shoe closet. What I took pictures of was the front door of my home. When you come in from the back door, the laundry room greets you and most of the time half our shoes.

Tell me what is the first thing people see when they walk thru your door? Let us strive to make it more welcoming.

Hugs, RoseMarie

My home is warm and inviting, after you make it through the four dogs happily greeting you....well, I guess they're warm and inviting too :)

Thank you, Lisa As you can tell my decorating is very simple. I love mixing old with new and placing items where you would'nt expect them to be. Using a lot of fresh flowers or just a potted plant livens a room up.

Very nice, RoseMarie. I love seeing other folks decorating because I don't really decorate. I just stick things where they fit or are needed. I've never really had a knack for actual decorating. I keep trying with my front entry, but it still always looks blah! Oh, well, I guess it's just not my thing.
