Posted - May 01 2008 : 2:26:43 PM Let's see. Saturday my daughter and I are going to a craft show and then over to our favorite country shop, they are having a tent sale. After that out to lunch. Then in the afternoon get put in the garden. Sunday Tom and I are going to Lowe's and get a new door for the mud room and an adorable screen door he found me, it looks like a cottage door. Then home to put together a porch swing we got. And put the doors up.well actually he is painting the big door a forest green to match the shutters and the front door first. I love sprucing things up a bit int he Spring!

Went to local grocery store for basics, bought gas, saw the price, fainted...(just kidding).Time to check animals again.Picked fresh broccoli for supper.Yum.. Tomorrow we go after the seeds for the big garden and chicken wire. The chicks are looking like chickens now and ready for a regular chicken coop. That means Saturday, planting the big garden and building the chicken coop. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Posted - May 01 2008 : 12:53:55 PM well lets see, I woke up extra early this morning to get a start on cleaning. We rescued a kitty and didn't know we were getting a packaged deal...we resued the fleas too! Now I am in the process of ridding the house of fleas...YUCK! I fixed scammbled eggs and toast for Abby ( which she would not touch) then we got dressed and took a walk around the block. It's really nice outside! A little more breezy than normal, so it was a great day for a walk. Dh is off work today so after lunch I asked him to watch Abby and I went thrifting ! I found a lamp and a few cute clothing items for abby and I. I also found a good book on pregnancy ( i'll be needing it sooner or later..i hope!) and some really cute childrens books. Im a sucker for childrens books. I just love the older ones that are easy to read and have beautiful illistrations. Now I am home, piddling around, waiting for my cousin and her little girl to come over. She hasn't seen my new house before so I'll give her a tour and then we are taking our girls out to ice-cream( or sno-cones). Tonight I plan on making a very easy diner, then I have to make banana bread for tomorrows breakfast adn look over some VBS stuff and straigten out my crafting clutter. I hope Abby goes to bed on time so i can get at least one things checked off my "to-do" list :)
Fresh and creative projects popping up on my blog daily! Stop by and check out what I'm up to today!

I am also playing with some aromatherapy recipies. Honey hubby and I will probably do some things out of the house on Saturday, including stopping at the one local winery that we like a lot :)
Did you get my one e-mail? I will be sending your lovely homespun on Saturday.

Posted - Apr 30 2008 : 3:34:56 PM Working on my Mother's Day baskets for the Relay for Life fundraiser I am doing. Tonight is my youngest daughter's choir concert and tomorrow night is her piano recital. I have to work tomorrow day. Friday is errands. Friday night is the meeting for those of us planning to hike the Wonderland Trail in August. Friday night is movie night at our house for the youngest and her friends. Saturday is the car wash- another fundraiser for Relay for Life. I am also moving my sewing and craft stuff out of the dining room and kitchen and into front room which we moved out of when we built on last fall. Betwixt all this and whatever else.... I have to get groceries, clean the kitchen, straighten up, etc. And find some time to keep my badly sprained ankle up on a chair. That's my plan for now!
Every path has its puddle. We have a choice - Turn around, walk around, or jump in and have fun! |

Tomorrow, work as usual, then off to my part time job in the evening.
Friday, work, then might talk hubby into going out somewhere for the evening. He mentioned that he'd like to go bowling sometime, that might be fun for then.

Posted - Apr 30 2008 : 08:41:30 AM Montana too - they really need this rain. It'll be fire season before we know it and it would be really bad to go into it without a good soaking.

Posted - Apr 30 2008 : 08:13:06 AM I will be finishing my major revamp of my sewing area - I got everything torn apart yesterday, then got a major case of vertigo in the afternoon and had to put it aside til I felt better. Clean up the house, get groceries, preparing for my road trip this weekend. I am planning a trip to the cabin, but I see the entire state of Montana is raining. I don't want to drive my van down the dirt road to our cabin if it's raining - last time I did that, the gumbo stuck up underneath and dried so thick that I had a $360 repair bill when I got home!

Posted - Apr 30 2008 : 08:06:53 AM Frannie, I left my day job a few months back - anywho, I was offered one yesterday and I think I will take it.. it is as an ofifce manager for a local winery.. but only 30 hours a week.. So.. that is what my next week will be.. I think... But for the remaining of this week.. We open our farmers Market Sat.. So, I am busy getting the last details ready for that, I also write a market column for the local paper - and I am doing that, My hubby and I are trying to get an arbor and a trellis done..and then put some picket fensing up... We filled in a concrete swimming pool in our back yard last year.. So we are awaiting some top soil and then the rest of the summer will be, rebuilding the back yard.. with raised beds and "english garden"......... I did buy the material to try a rag doll - using the pattern in MJ's mag. from you... I may be "calling" :) Have a blessed, rest of the week!
