Posted - Apr 29 2008 : 7:10:32 PM Nancy Jo- the quilts you find, handmade or not, are really pretty! I have a few inexpensive not hand-made quilts,or handmade in China, and I have used them for years! They are great because you can use them, wash them, and not feel as if you are using up a family heirloom! I love that!

Posted - Apr 29 2008 : 12:08:24 PM I haven't really decided....and I picked it up and put it down two times, but for $2.25, whatever, right? I might be nice and give it Justin to house some of his modelling stuff--it has a nice velveteen covered inside, and would be good for little plane parts and things like that (did I mention he was a WWII nerd?)...He's made brush holders out of all my Crabtree and Evenlyn cookie cannisters and his table looks a little "girly" so maybe I should definitely give it to him!!!

Posted - Apr 29 2008 : 11:35:33 AM Nancy Jo, you inspired me today, so I trekked over to our Goodwill for 30% off day (50% off tank tops and skirts)...I was also set on finding you some of your dishes that Miss Wilma sent because lord knows I've passed those up many times before--now I probably won't find a one! I ended up getting 4 pairs of pants, 2 tank tops to go under shirts and blazers for work and an old wooden dovetailed recipe box (70 cents) and the coolest, a leather hat box that went to a gentleman's luggage set (I think my dad had the same set :)) for $2.25.
Overall, a good haul and stuff I can actually wear :)

Posted - Apr 29 2008 : 10:19:13 AM Nice stuff as always, Nancy Jo. I remember reading a Five Little Peppers and How They Grew when I was little - it was my mother's book. And of course, one can never pass up a book of paper dolls! :)
