Tasha- You are doing awesome! How cool!

I have gotten clothes and given away a wobbly table. Our group around here is a bit slow but I am always on the prowl!

I think I like the freebies in your areas better. Very farmgirl friendly! I wonder what the Chicago freecycle has!? Hmmm.

okie doke so I had gone out today and gotten the fuel oil tank (that had a considerable amount of red diesel left in it!) and the h2o heater and the base that the fuel tank was on and she offered my 2 rabbit transport cages and a small-ish bunnie hutch! I'm going back out there either this afternoon or tomorrow to get them! Freecycle is too great!

OH! and today I listed a want ad for nanking cherry plants and got a reply! YAY! I love bragging about free stuff!

I love L.A. Freecycle. I have given away a lot of crap and a ton of good stuff. Craigslist free section is a dream too.

I got an amazing queen size mattress of organic cotton (brand new) off of freecycle. I've rec'd a pottery barn rug a food processor and boy I can't even remember what else!

I have a tendency to see things and call my friends. You gotta share the wealth, right?

Last year we got 3 huge park quality picnic tables off of craigslist. And free too!

I love free. Why yesterday I posted an ad and gave away my friends old organ and people were fighting for it! LOL!

How much fun is this?!

Love love love Freecycle. Craigslist is awesome, too, but the freecycle in my area is mostly SAHM-driven, and I feel much more at ease picking stuff up from them. Still, though, just got some shelves off Craigslist this evening!

freecycle and Free Craigs List finds.....
Rainbow vacuum, vintage doll clothes with a very old doll quilt, worm bin w/worms, rowenta iron, new rice cooker, leather motorcycle jackets, good quality beaver cowboy hat, vintage needlework magazines, 55 gal aquarium with stand and all supplies. I know there's a bunch more, those are just what I can recall easily. Good buys on online local sites....Featherweight sewing machine, $100; another Rainbow vacuum with all accesories for my daughter $199; a stuffed full bag of very vintage linens $20. Someone on Craigs List was giving away a railroad caboose last week. Before I realized my son's company could move it here, it was long gone and taken off list.
All the sites for keeping stuff in use and out of the landfills is great. I've given away a good stove, lots of curtains and much more when someone has posted a need.

I have another one!!!!!!!!!

Someone just listed a 1965 trailer house! I asked to see photos as I have said to Rob in the past if I ever see a trailer house listed on freecycle I'm getting it for an animal shelter.

Wow, thanks Tasha. I didn't know about Freecycle. I just signed us up but we have to wait approval for our local area.

That is quiet a list and some really good free items. Good job. There is just not much listed in the freecycle in my area.
I may have to list some of my stuff to be carted off by others, soon.

You can never have enough friends.
