Posted - Jul 02 2008 : 5:22:10 PM I'm south of Grand junction so at least i am on the left side of the mountains. I do like montrose. I just bought a house a year ago, small town and affordable! hard to find these days. I like to garden, but mostly canning. I think that has to do with the fact that I like to eat. :)

Posted - Apr 25 2008 : 8:46:20 PM Hi Grace, Thanks for your note. I lived in Larkspur for a summer when I was young (in the '40s). I now live in town but we lived on a cattle ranch for over 40 years. Our children were raised on the ranch. I moved here after my husband passed away 10 years ago. I do miss the ranch some times.Meeker is a ranching community and I feel at home here. I am a watercolor artist, and I sew, knit, crochet, and garden ( if it ever warms up). I also like to travel.
