I stepped out on the front porch and my heart smiled.

The sky is a bright blue with little puffs of cotton ball clouds. All around me you can almost hear the tree filled mountains popping out loud as the tree buds are bursting open. There is a spring crispness to the air with a promise of a warm sunny day. The birds are singing as if to celebrate the morning. I can hear our creek tumbling along the rock bed and I am going to work from home today and enjoy the fresh air and beauty. I love our little farm

Lainey - you, miss wilma and frannie are all part of my neck of the woods. Just a little north of me. You know I felt so touched with thankfullness this morning it brought tears to my eyes. What a beautiful planet we have been blessed with.

We are still a bit cold here ( about 34 last night) So I woke to clear skies - but a nip in the air - and the sounds of wind machines over the orchards. It is suppose to get up to 56 today - but the wind makes it all seem a bit cooler..I still try to open the windows for an hour during the day.. just to get some fresh air in... last year my DH built me a clothes line... there is simply nothing better then bedding lined dried. Alee... you guys arent that far away.... has your weather been about the same as here.... a couple GREAT days and then back to cold?????

Tamara, that was very poetic and almost could describe how it is here in Central Kentucky today. Truly, spring and fall are my favorite times of the year.

I agree! What a beautiful morning! We are having a bright sunshiny day here too- I hope it holds as my wayward husband who was supposed to wash and _dry_ our feather bed last night at the laundry mat only got the thing about half dry. SO it is on our porch right now. I am really hoping the day is hot enough that all the feathers dry!
