This is the other side of the coin of the regrets topic - Zan challenged me to look at my "jack of all trades, master of none" and re-title it...."VERSITILE"

At 45 and the mother of 4 boys (2 grown and 2 at home).. being a homemaker was all I wanted to be - it is truly where my heart is. At times I have had to work outside the home, I have been a dental assistant, an office manager, a licensed Crop Insurance Agent,a talent agent, a Dr. personal secretary, an art curater, a waitress, a bus driver, a truck driver, a farm manager,to name a few....I tend to react to someone telling me I cannot or I am not qualified....as.. "how hard can it be?".... This year, I decided to get off the rat wheel I was on.. and Live in Purpose.. Now, I am the assistant director of the Local farmers market, do ag tour consulting, and freelance jouralism and teach precept bible studies.

While good and bad they are all successes.... But my biggest success is that of my career choice - wife, homemaker, and mom.

Whoo Hoo Rene! You are a wonderful success! And I LOVE your list of things you have tried your hand at! And I think you make an excellent point "good and bad they are all successes"- Sometimes just putting yourself out there and trying a new something is a success. Society wants us to believe that success is measured in money and acclaim, but really I think, success can only be measured in whether we did our best each day. If you try and do your best- you are a success!
