whut cha'll have planned for today (it's 1:30 a.m. here in kentucky .. sooo .. it's officialy thursday!)
anybody doin' anything FUN today? i have an eye doc appointment in town .. soooooo .. i'll hit a coupla' fun shoppes .. maybe go see a movie and treat myself to a yummy lunch. nothing super exciting .. but an opportunity to maybe meet new people .. find a little treasure-ette .. and maybe stop for some more herbs and plants!

ha! pam .. company coming is always a good incentive for a little 'house cleaning'! i'm like that too! i try to keep everything 'neat' and 'surface' clean (HA! except for the FLOORS .. which seem to be DIRTY everyday .. cuz' of the dawgs dragging in dirt on their feet and fur!)

allee .. i love vintage 'milk bottles' .. i use them at breakfastime when we have company .. and sometimes for 'iced tea' .. and sometimes to put 'wildflowers' in!

Cleaning the house some..nice enough to open the windows a crack. We have been teased with some nice weather and then it will snow..sigh
DH went up to look at property over the ID line. Maybe this will be the place?
He took 3 of our 10 kiddos, it is so quiet here lol
Getting my apron done for my adult kid's bonus mom for her BD. It will be a half apron with Red Hat fabric. I think she'll get a kick out of it.

My plans were to start cleaning everything in site since I am expecting company this weekend. The local festival is this weekend and my sister is coming down to go to it with me. But...first thing I had to get Annie the goat's head out of the fence, again. Then I uncovered all the vegetables I had covered with pinestraw because of the frost we had(2 nights in the row, way down here). Then my husband decided we need to take the biddies(chicks) out of the brooder and move them to a bigger pen. They sure have grown in almost 3 weeks.
After fixing lunch, hanging clothes on the clothes line, I am just now getting back to the deep cleaning.
Just another exciting day on the farm.
You can never have enough friends.

I am going to get some milk bottles washed up and sent to some farmgirls. And while I am out and about I am going to stop at the dollar store. Then it is back home for cleaning, laundry and dishes!

oh sue .. you made me giggle .. 'natural blonde' ..
well, i'm starting to resemble a SKUNK .. since having my hair done what we called in the 60's PLATINUM .. it's grown a little and i have this big black stripe running down the middle of my head! when you look at the crown .. it looks like i'm wearing a 'yamaka' .. o.k. .. i KNOW that's not how you spell it .. but i jus' 'sounded' it out!
i guess i need to 'tend to' those roots sometime soon! xo

oh momma jenny .. aren't these jus' the best years of life? (well .. these .. and childhood and young adulthood (pre-children) .. and THE CHILDREN YEARS especially .. and then the wonderful, wonderful well-deserved FREEDOM years (which i'm in!) life is so precious and grande!

shirley is definitely having more fun!....... i'm going to have more natural blonde put in my hair today. i don't know that i'd call it fun, but it will make me feel better when it's done! have a great one everybody! |

Wow Shirley...have fun!!
It is 1am here in Utah now..
I don't have big plans for the morning, but need to get some phone calls and cleaning done, and regular chores. I have cubscouts coming at 4pm for an hour...we are painting air dry pots they made last time. Then three of my kids are in a 4H talent show playing three different instruments (piano, trumpet and flute) at 6pm..but it is 1/2 hour away so we will have to eat quick and hit the road. Husband has to work late..until about 6:30 or 7pm...so he will miss the talent show..and will have to fend for himself for supper unless I manage a crock pot meal..I am lost this week..didn't get a menu posted..I hate that.
