oh ya's .. if you have never been to Greensburg, Kentucky .. NOW is the time for your visit! We have the following film being shown (lotsa' info about it below .. the when, where, and what of it!)

I saw a 'clip' of this incredible film and was mesmerized! If you can come .. doooo let me know .. we can arrange to go to the same showing (3:00 p.m. .. and then all have dinner together in town).

Some of the footage was shot in Greensburg, Kentucky and one piece is about a Green County man who was known as the "Devil Worshiper". Two of the young men who did the filming are from Greensburg. Blake Judd and Jacob Ennis are both from Greensburg. The orginal screening was held in Nashville about a monmth ago (Terry & I attended) at the historic Belcourt Theartre and it was sold out. They recently won best feature film at a film festival in Phil, Pa. They are hopeful that the film will be accepted at the Raindance Festival in London, England.

Seven Signs
Music, Myth & the American South
A film by JD Wilkes with Blake Judd, Todd True, & Jacob Ennis

at 1PM, 3PM, 5PM CDT
with Q & A following each showing
The Old Train Depot
Greensburg, KY
Admission $5.00
PG - 13 (For mild language)

In the face of encroaching urban sprawl and the homegeny of sterile "McManisons" and mega-chruches, Col. JD Wilkes (frontman and songwriter for the Legendary ShackShakers) sets off on a passage to find the honest, soulful (and often strange) American South.

Seven Signs interweaves the stories of several musicians, artists, and local legends to show how the Southern Experience is different from and invaluable to the rest of the world. With an unflinching eye, Wilkes views the paradoxical world of the South, a land where cultures and traditions have combined to create a place worth preserving.........A troubling place where so much has gone horibbly, horribly right.
