Finally a couple of good warm days and time to open all the doors and windows and air out. A note to self though...leave the screen door closed. I walked into my kitchen this morning to find a happy little hummingbird enjoying the African violets on my windowsill!!

How cool is that? Well, if you have hummingbirds way up there already, we must have some here by now! I better get the feeders out.

OHHH How exciting!!! Hope he didn't get caught inside, but to be that close, what a joy! (careful though, they can be a little fiscious!)

We are having to hurry and cover our garden at this point, they are calling for a good heavy frost for the next two nights..(sigh) Other then that, we were experiencing a mini heat wave..temps in the 80's!
