I just had to get outside today, been literally under the weather and fighting something. Been sitting out there and just came inside, looked in the mirror and my little freckles across my face are OUT. It IS spring when they arrive. hhaha. Gotta love the sprinkling of sun across your face. I never believe a word about the sun being "bad" for you phooey on that. Tomatoes are bad then, so is dirt, and worms.....they feed your soul is what they do.

Hope you all are enjoying the beauteous weather!!! Get that sun sprinkled across your face xoox

Tanning beds are a LIFE SAVER in the winter when it's all cloudy and cold out! They are a little strong, though, lol.

I'm a sun 'worshiper', oh I LOVE to be in the sun! I've always been so envious of my sister's sprinkling of freckles, since they stand out so cute after she's been out in the sunshine. She sunburns, though, where as after I build up a base tan I rarely burn at all. So I'm blessed that way! I can be out in the sun all day and not have any bad result from it! Sunlight seems to soothe my soul, it's warming and calming.

bridget .. my face would fill with freckles when i was a little girl .. but ohhhh .. i do have a few friends that have dealt with some bad cases of skin cancer (directly related to over-exposure to the sun) ... soooo .. i'm not a sun worshiper .. i do get sun .. but i also protect my skin from the 'bad' rays.

some people are susceptible to this dread disease .. others are not. i don't want to take the chance. (i've never much been for one to sit too long IN or OUT of the sunshine.

glad you had a wonderful day and enjoyed the out of doors! xo

OH Bridget!! A gal after my own heart!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the sun!!! I do believe in its healing powers and since I have battled depression and some other ailments, the sun is very healing to me!!! I sat out for about 20 minutes today and feel fantastic!!! I am not worried about cancer, aging, wrinkles, etc...all the women and men, especially on my mom's side of the family "worshipped" the sun and they all were beautiful. I do drink a lot of water (to prevent dehydration) and moisturize religiously.

Cheers,
Heather
