Yesterday when I went to the doctor and had to get weighed like always first thing (to make you feel good right????) the nurse said out loud the weight she was writing down..and it was 10 lb more than the scale actually said. I almost corrected her and then I didn't want to embarrass her..AND I figure next time I go to the doctor ..she will be so proud of me...losing 10 lb. you know..haha

Jenny - a lady to the bone...even if it means recording 10 lbs heavier than you are! Now my respect for you has grown - if that is possible!!!!! I would have quickly quirped - hey nurse, you are wrong!!!!!

yep..Sunday morning...we have to leave here in the boonies at 5am tomorrow to get there on time. Mona isn't going to know WHAT to think about getting fed in the dark!!

To funny Jenny! What is even funnier, that happened to me at my last weigh-in at the doctors! Why? Silly nurses! Anyhoo, I have lost close to 20 lbs. since then so my next weigh-in will blow them away!!!!! heehee!

oh gurlz .. ain't nuthin' shy about me at the doc's office! when it comes time to get weighed (and WHY is it the nurse who weighs you in is always about 500 pounds?) well .. i warn everyone within eyesight that i am going to 'get nekked' .. so that not an extra ounce shows up on that scale! .. then i start taking off my shoes and belt ..and ...
well .. from time to time .. i will indeed have people running in the opposite direction!

Jenny- You crack me up! What is it about the doctor's office that makes us clam-up? But, I was thinking, with your thyroid problems, a 10 lb. loss could set off alarms if its too quick. You may want to 'fess up!!

Jenny,
that is too funny and you are so nice not to embarass her. Of course, I would have been embarassed by the extra ten lbs. so I would have had no problem telling her but probably not out loud.  maybe because right now ten lbs is a major issue for me.
Usually they take your weight so that if you need meds they can give the correct doage as it's based on the person's weight. You are just sweet not warped!
