if you were given the opportunity to travel to 'outer space' .. to see other planets and universes .. to have amazing adventures ... but the trip would take TWO YEARS before you could return to earth .. would all this adventure be worth it to you?

Here you go ladies! For those of you with an extra $100,000,000.00 (yes I counted correctly that is One Hundred Million Dollars)
Buy a ticket to the Moon and back here! Does Visa have a $100,000,000.00 limit? I wonder if they take checks...How many money orders would that be....

I would have loved to have gone when before I fell in love and had Nora. Maybe when I was between 18-22, but since then I have been happily grounded on good old Terra Firma.

No, I couldn't do it. I lived in tiny cramped spaces onboard aircraft carriers for almost 3 years. I like to breathe fresh air and get out and about and I love my own space.

Cheers,
Heather

Years ago, in a heart beat. Now I just like traveling here on earth. I could never be away from my husband or my daughter and grandkids( not to mention my doxies) for that long. I know how precious time together is.

Nope. I like keeping my feet on the ground. I prefer travel by car!

Hey, Frannie...you know that you can buy a ticket for a trip to the moon now. I heard about it on NPR recently. It's that Virgin Records and Virgin Airlines guy...can't remember his name....Sir something...Branson? People are getting READY to do it soon! I can't remember the price of a ticket,, but it was A LOT.
I'd do it, but not if it took two years and only if I could talk my husband into joining me. In fact, after I heard that NRP report I called him and asked him if he'd go with me. So far his answer is NO. Oh well.

Yep, I think y'all have been much more settled in life than I have (at least a homebase to go in and out of) by what my answer was and what I'm reading from y'all....I am ready for my nomadic life to get in one spot but still about 3 years away from that goal.

Until then...I just keep creating new paths along the way!
