Zoe, Rob and I ventured into town to pick up some auto parts and stop in at the market. Zoe and I stopped into the bakery. I started my order and then all of a sudden the other owner of the bakery stops the one owner and tells him that she has the rest of the order. So she then tells me that the older man ahead of me had added a dozen doughnuts onto his order for me! The nicest thing! I stopped in for a roll of their yummy dinner rolls and a couple of doughnut holes! So I hollar thanks to the man, get my doughnuts and then go down the street to the coffee place. Rob met me there, we got our goods and paid for the lunch of a lady who after she left we found out was all alone as her husband recently died. This hit us hard because Rob's granddad just died last week at 91 and his gramma is now alone. After we left the coffee house, I stopped in across the street at the florist to send off our flowers for the funeral, apparently the lady had gone in there and gave $50 towards the next person's order!!! I didn't accept since I knew why she did it, but asked that they forward it on to the next person!

what a blessed day!!

I was thinking about this post last night, Tasha. I just can't get it out of my head. What a lovely and wonderful thing to happen. A circle of giving with each person after the next gaining and giving more and more. It makes one dizzy to think about. Wouldn't you love it if the world could get wrapped in a cycle like that?

I am going to keep thinking about this and at the littlest chance- I am going to pay it forward. Because you have given me a huge gift just by telling us about your beautiful day!

That is cool Tasha, and a good learning experience for Zoe.
Perhaps, I will try doing something like this for someone today...

How cool! Paying it forward is such a neat concept! I don't know if it is still "in motion" but I knew of a $100 that was being given in the area with the only stipulation that as soon as you could, you pass it on to someone else in need. I know it kept going for several years at least. I truly believe generousity will bless everyone in the end. Thanks for sharing the good in humanity with us!

Hugs & blessings,

Brenda
