ANYONE gotten the spring cleaning bug yet? i've been fussying up the yard .. and this morning .. i cleaned and cleared our wonderful big 'back porch' .. i love everything out there .. but it was actually getting a tad tooooooooo charmingly cluttered .. these are bigger things .. sooo .. i'll be taking them to my antiques shoppe in town.

gonna' go get a buncha' cleaning products and my fav: Scott's Liquid Gold furniture polish and shine everything real good.

I have been doing a lot of cleanup outside. Burning and pulling weeds mostly. I've done some work in the house, but I have tons more to do. Never enough time and energy to get everything done.

Oh yes, I have been at it too. I started in my kitchen and have been tearing apart the cupboards. Also, we always quit using the woodstove the end of March, so I really tore apart the hearth and cleaned everything.I have a lot of graniteware around on the mantel. Gosh, it is so nice to not have the dust now! I also cleaned one of my little painted hutch's and put everything all clean and washed back on there.I am now eyeing the big cherry hutch and my tea pot collection on the top of it. I am sure that it is really needing a cleaning. I like to get the house all cleaned top to bottom in April. Then in May I am outside!!

Yep, been at it for awhile. Did all my kitchen cupboards on Sunday. Hey Frannie, I remember using Liquid gold along time ago and it never semmed to dry right. Maybe I should try it again.

I hope to get started really soon....like this coming weekend....having a small apartment, should not take too long to do. I will be in Covington, KY next weekend for a Sweet Adeline regional chorus competition....so I suppose I better get started...I use the Myer's Clean Day....I LOVE the scent of the stuff.
