I only had time to run in one Salvation Army thrift store on Saturday. But I fell in love with this picture of pink hollyhocks. It is very heavy and really looks like a watercolor painting. The border is actually white and has an embossed pattern in it.
I can't get photobucket to straighten out my little(about two inches) old Japanese rooster. He sure has wild colors. What a long tail! This little berry bowl is a Fire King pattern I've bought a lot of in thrift stores over the years - I started out with some snack trays and matching cups and things just got out of control at some point! LOL!The last thing is this Cherokee Indian prayer. I just like what it says.. I give up on photobucket. I'm just going to post this and hope for the best.

Hey Sheila! My daddy was half cherokee, my grandfather full. I'll post a photo sometime and you can see for yourself...when he was younger, I didn't notice as much, but as he got older, boy howdy, he was Native!!!!
