a BIG thank you to 3 of our sweetest farmgirls.
in the last few weeks i have received sweet surprises from these 3 ladies and appreciate it so much.
it brings such delight here at the farm to receive mail and especially when olivia and deven are here, it is just like magic to them to have the truck drive up and boxes come in from far away places. the fabric from miss wilma was wonderful and will be well used, and the handwork from nancy jo and nance are very inspirational to little olivia, as her omie doesnt do this kind of work.
nancy jos pillows are at home with the bunnies and my pretty cup towel, nance is in my kitchen adding some nice color.
thanks to all of you for thinking of me.

well, nancy jo, you dont know how much fun i have looking at your post and also your blog, i just wish you lived close, same with miss wilma and nance in france and many of the other girls here. but being close on this site is great too!
miss wilma, i am not going to roundtop this year, but it sounds like some of your treasures will be there.
if ya do come here to texas, i hope you will stop by and stay with us, we are alot more fun than the motels are. at least i think we are. you would have to just put on your blinders though cause i never know what shape the house will be in, but my craft rooom is usually a mess. but even when we are in disaray we will have plenty of welcome here for a farmgirl friend.
and i agree the gas prices are spoiling a lot of fun for everyone. sure wish we had an alternative?!

Well Frannie it has been such a pleasure to get to know you,We were planning on coming to Texas but with gas so high we decided it would be more practical to do shows closer to home.Buiness has been great here at home I have sold almost all of both estates I had bought so a lot of my mdse will be in the big red barn even if I cant make it, I was so looking forward to seeing you. I have a very good friend that will be in the big tent at Zapp Hall, she has lots of early textiles, her name is Jenny Higbee. Thanks so much for being so sweet Miss Wilma
