Well I did my ride in Milton Fl. We (my horse and I) completed about 40 miles over the weekend. About 5.5 hours in saddle each day. My knees were sore but luckly my back was no worse for wear. I had a fun time and we did well. I came in third in horsemanship in my division and apparently that is pretty good for my first long distance ride. My horse was very good on the entire ride and took very good care of me, she wasn't very tired for her first ride either. We were supposed to go to Uwarrie National forrest this weekend but I think I'll take a brake. It cost me too much in gas and other things to go this weekend. Going to Milton cost me over $300 in gas in my truck and trailer so we are going to wait till next month to go to Rutledge GA and then East Fork Stables in TN for a ride. I had alot of fun but boy it sure does get expensive.

Congratulations, Ayako! That sounds like a lot of fun, but a lot of work, too! Good luck at your next ride!
