The school that I teach at part-time had a fundraiser with baskets. Well the teachers got 3 complimentary tickets! I put mine in without thinking. Well here I won 1 of the Wine and Cheese baskets. I posted about it and pics on my FG blog. 6 bottles of wine, crackers, tablecloth, journal, cheese cutting tools and cutting board, wine stopper, flower gc, and a few other tidbits! Check it out!

Thanks you two!!! I just had to share, I never win anything :-p haha. They are good fundraisers! Wow some of those that you guys have are amazing. I'll have to present that idea to them about the class party one, garden basket, and day of pampering!!! I forgot to add it was the one donated by 7th and 8th grade families, THE BAD KIDS hehe I say that in a joking but true tone, I think karma repaid me for putting up with their stuff hehe.

Congratulations Bridget!!
Guess what? Our school just had a PTA fundraiser with baskets too! It ended yesterday and I spent the better part of an hour helping the fundraising chairman sort and count entries and money..it was a great fundraiser! (our first time doing that one)I am PTA pres. this year so I am glad it was successful. The money will be used for new equipment for PE and for a field trip. Our most popular baskets were the one "special night out" basket with a gift cert. for a dinner at the best place in town, and lots of goodies..I think it may have had movie tickets too, and the "Class Party" basket. The teachers really had a competition going for that one...I think each of them put their names in that one 10 times. It will be a fun class party put on by the PTA board for the winning class..pizza and all sorts of fun. There was a garden basket (I did that one up) and a scrapbooking basket, a girly basket and a boyish one, a "day of pampering" basket with gift certs for haircut, manicure and lots of fun personal care stuff in the basket too, and a family game time basket. I know I am forgetting at least one. It was a fun thing to do.
anyway...bridget..yay!! I am so glad you won at yours!
