The sun is setting, It's almost 50 degrees and the birds are singing, I was walking the dogs around the yard and seeing what's popping up in the garden and watching the horses across the road graze, Hubby came out and we talked about summer plans and kitty came by and sat down with us..so peaceful, what a great night. Of course we have only been here not a year yet.
Do you ever get that peaceful, new feeling?

Yes, when the weather is changing over and you can feel the warmth on a light wind, you can hear the birds chirping right in the early morning and it is all quiet. I love to watch my dog just sniffing around, trying to find that right ray of sun and everything is bursting forward in color and smell. AHHHH!! SPRING!!!

I had that feeling the other day. We went for a walk by the lake, and went to "the point" a little peninsula you get to by a little rickity bridge. Anyway there is a bench at the other end, me and dh went and sat down, the kids were playing talking about the frozen water. And it all felt just right. We have only been here a month today actually. And I feel like I am home.Its quiet at night, and all day I hear the birds. When we walk to the lake, the frozen ice is so pretty. (although i would love for it to melt, I am missin warmth)
But yes I am feelin that new peaceful, happy feeling. For the first time in a long time.
