Posted - Mar 20 2008 : 07:25:48 AM Yesterday was our 37th anniversary. DH is helping our son out while he is visiting his wife's family in Kentucky, so he was gone all day, building someone's driveway. I was kind of bummed out all day, as I knew we couldn't go out to dinner to celebrate due to his lay-off and our super strict budget. Well, about 1 pm he called me, saying he was on his way home and to get ready because we were going to go out, lay-off or not. He got home and we went into Olympia and did some "window shopping", then went to Red Lobster where he used a forgotten gift card his boss in Arizona had given him. We ended up having a really nice meal and only using $7 of our own money! Then a stop at Starbucks on the way home for a latte. He still knows how to charm me after all these years!!!!!
