So the weather is to DIE for here. But still chilly when I took louis (mini schnauzer) for a walk it was 31 and I was FREEZING in a hoodie. So it was a quick walk. The sun is out the birdies are chirping. hehe Love it. I decided to do a lil spring cleaning inside so that when it is WARM I can skip the cleaning and be OUTSIDE!!!!!!!! I can't wait. hmmm I smell dirt, see crocuses, and hear birdies. Spring is here even if its not official. How's the spring coming with you all?

The warmest day that we have had this whole year was 50 degrees and that was once. Right now it stays around 35-40 degrees during the day so while we still have loads of snow on the ground it is slowly melting. I saw my first robin last week but we still have ugly brown grass and no flowers even trying to emerge so it looks like spring isn't in a hurry to get here.

don't the deer eat your tulips?? i used to plant those up in new jersey but the deer would actually dig up the bulbs and eat them like candy. i love tulips, though!!

Oh I can't wait for spring to really truly get here! I too am working on getting the house ship-shape so that when it is beautiful out, Nora and I can go on walks to the park and have fun outside. I know Sky loves days when we get out and about. And I sure would like it if my jeans fit a little looser! LOL

Yeah, my garden I'm debating whether to unearth my lil greenies or let them rest.....I'm not smart about that thing. I def need input. I think we'll have maybe an onion snow or something like that.

My crocus are blooming in the bed I shoveled the snow off of. Counts as spring to me (even if I did cheat a little)! I spotted the first robin last Thursday. Snowing off an on since last Friday. But it's only snowing an inch or two and then the sun comes out, repeat.

I keep thinking Spring is finally here and then we wake up to snow! LOL! We did have a couple warmer days and I spent several hours out trimming perennials, etc. I too am so ready for spring and am enjoying seeing and listening to all the birds. I think, when I go grocery shopping today, I will pick up a bouquet of daffodils, because I want to push spring wherever I can! LOL!

Hugs & blessings,

Brenda
