Jus' got home from a fun trip to Columbus, Ohio .. with friend, Faye (owner of Mercantile Gatherings Magazine) .. Twigs .. editor of Mercantile Gatherings and momma of Primitive Blessings .. Kathy Sugarbucket, Judy, writer for Mercantile Gatherings (and momma of Twigsy) .. we also met up with Lynn Anne .. a dear friend who lives in Ohio.
We set up a booth at a trade show and got lots of new subscribers and shoppes and homes to feature and advertizers! OH WHAT FUN WE ALL DID HAVE .. and came home with a car loaded with treasures!
There were lots of giggles and stories. GURLFRENZ are the BEST!!!
I found lots of wonderful little accessories for my dollies .. tons of inspiration .. and we met the owner of the magnificent RAGU company .. a darling man from India (his name is RAGU) .. and oh wowzer .. i bought a complete bedroom linens set for daughter Wednesday .. duvet cover, bed skirt, pillow covers and curtains .. it is adorable!!! We sat with Ragu for a long time (both Twigs and Lynn Ann are two of his designers .. and Kathy just signed on with him too!!! He told us all about his life in India and his travels to the United States .. the journey that brought him to being a very successful American businessman. OF COURSE, we all asked him about his 'arranged marriage' .. he was darling .. and told us about his beautiful young wife that he loves dearly!!! He shared with us his hopes, dreams and goals for the future too.
After the show .. we all visited another wholesale show and got some goodies .. and our very own little Miss Amy and her adorable husband Tim joined us for dinner for lots more stories and good laughs!
Saturday, we got up bright and early and went to ANOTHER wholesale show .. for more goodies .. and hit a few antiques shoppes on our way home.
I thought they would have to strap me to the top of the car to make room for all the packages!
Oh i do so love gurlfren gatherings .. but it sure is good to be back home sweet home .. and i'm gonna' go snuggle with HONEY HUNK right now!

So glad that all of you ladies made it home safe and sound :-) It was so great getting to meet up with all of you for dinner....hope that you are enjoying all of your treasures!

mosly' jus' got doo-dahs .. embellishments for dollies .. a few 'olde things' .. kitchen ware .. but the biggest prize was the wonderful complete bedroom duvet cover and curtains and such that i got for wednesday.
totally forgot to take pics of all the gurlfrenz!!! xo
