I was visiting my good friend Patty's blog today and when I was reading comments I found that many of my farmgirl sisters here left comments.. I have known Patty for many years now- probably 5 or so.. Of course only via internet and letters. So great to see so many of you know her too..
If any of you haven't been to her blog before- check it out..

Hi Aunt Jenny,
I still am trying to find a couple of Shetland sheep, love spinning their wool. Maybe now that spring has sprung and lambing time is here, I can find a couple.
I so enjoyed our Finn, they were twins, bottle fed and so sweet, with the nicest wool.
We had Rambolet too and they were nice wool producers.

Take care Patty...we had our bad weather pass through here Saturday...today looks to be nice out.
Saanens were always my own favorites. Never did find any Finn sheep...I have always been interested in them..but no luck finding any near enough to home. I have Icelandics..only two ewes these days.
So fun to have you here!!

Hi Kay,
Wow, this is fun seeing so many of my blog readers here. I feel so at home.
Bad weather on its way here to North Texas so I am spending the morning making sure everything is ready for high winds and hail as that is some of what we are expecting

Hi Shirley
Nubians are not my favorite breed, I think they tend to be noisy and their milk has more butter fat than I really like, but my two new goats came from friends of ours so it just happened to work out. We have had Saanans and Alpines and my daughter Melanie raised Oberhausli's and we all loved them. For many years we had sheep, Finn, and other good wool producers. For a while we had angora goats which were fun too.
Glad you enjoy my blog : )

Isn't our blogging and Farmgirl world a small place? I can't believe how many people's blog I read and then find out they are a Farmgirl too. Patty I really enjoyed your post about plain dressing, why it's done, and the Biblical reasons. It was very interesting.

Patty, I have had many problems with negative people online. Some have attacked me personally and it really hurts. I'm glad you're continuing your blog and persevering!
