I was just vacuuming which I love cause it's sorta therapeutic to me! I was just thinking what housework do you all enjoy? I like to think there's nothing on the floor and it would be nice to lay down on and feel clean. I know a lil odd. I just like that thought. I'm still in the process of re-decorating a lil. So what do you like to do in your house and do you think of the FGs? I was just thinking of you all as I vacuumed.

I do enjoy housework. It seems to get out of hand quickly if you don't stay up on it though. I like to sit down at the end of a good scrubbing and soak up the joy of my accomplishment. What makes me think of FG's...wearing an apron while cleaning. :-)

I love housework. If I could just stay at home all the time, which I perhaps could, but have not made happen....I would clean, cook, dust, sweep, decorate, take care of my grandgirls, and take care of the details that a clean home means. Like just tonight, I opened my indoor shutters in the kitchen window and found all kinds of dust in the windowsill. There is always work to be done, and I certainly will never hire it done, so wish I could have more time to keep everything right. Plus I love to veggie garden, and that takes time too! And I love to quilt and stitch, so I ask myself, how does anyone find time to work outside the home? And I did it for a long time!!!!! But I was younger!!!

I for one DO NOT like housework.
One reason is. with all my dieases and conditons some house work is hard for me to do
This house being old ; when you clean ; you can't really tell you have done it afterwards.
I am thanfull for a house and it is payed for
We are building our retirement home.
So, we will have huge housepayment; but it will be worth it
I won't have to climb 14 steps to get to my bedroom
When I clean I will be able to look and see the results
So, NO, right now I don't like house cleaning
However, I do like a clean housepinkross

i love to just putter in the kitchen...cooking, cleaning, rearranging, making pretty settings on my table. a little bit of love can make even a shabby apartment beautiful.

cleaning is not my favorite thing to do, but i need and i like a clean and (very) organized home to feel settled in. i guess mopping the floor is more therapeutic to me, maybe cause it's usually the last thing i do so i know the end is near!!! when it comes to therapy, i bake. p.s. bridget, did you get my e-mail? i just hit reply and then send...?? also, if you go to google, ask for pierre deux and you will ultimately get to their store of furniture, items and beautiful fabrics.....it is soooooo inspiring! enjoy your clean home!! sue

I do not like to clean but I love a clean home- a peaceful home. I love to decorate with old vintage things- I feel a connection to those who made the items I decorate with.. That said- spring has kind of swept in here .. I feel rejuvinated.. We got tons done yesterday.. got 3 rooms completely cleaned and decluttered! I feel renewed.. now to tackle the rest of the house.

Although I don't do it very often, I love to iron. I have very fond memories of watching my Dad iron his pants in the mornings. He was very precise and he taught me how to iron. I am also very precise! LOL!
