I ordered this from Pam last week, it was on her site. I knew right where I wanted it to go. Well it came today and Pam did such a nice job re-finishing it. And she sent me a pussy willow all the way from KY. It made it here just fine, and its in water waiting for planting time. I put a picture on my site. I have to look up about pussy willows, can't say as I know much about growing them.

yep .. i agree with marybeth .. i hear tell you can just put it into the earth .. somewhat like a cutting from forsythia. when i do this .. i always put a little growing medium on it .. haven't done it for a long time though.

Nancy Jo, willows are very easy to grow. Actually if it was warmer where you are you could just stick the branch in the ground and it would root. Pussy Willows are actually native to the eastern US. They don't need their feet in water but like access to water. Like growing by a lake or stream. Yet with care they can be a patio or yard shrub or tree .
NJ, that ladle is beautiful. MB
