Alright, I know I'm not the ONLY one who loves him!

I just finished watching the 3 part Appalachia series, too. What a great day!!!!

When my daughter was little (almost 30 years ago) he would guest star on the Muppets, and she asked me where his ears were. I told her that he didn't have any (his hair just perfectly covered them!). She thought that was so amazing that he could play the guitar and sing without any ears!! Even when I 'fessed up and told her that he really did have ears, he fondly remained "the man without ears" to her! We had his albums, and we all loved him!

Jeannie, I wonder if you've ever seen this special, then? It was called "A Songs Best Friend", I think, and had interviews from Annie (of course) and all the people in his band, co-writers, etc...plus great excerpts from concerts up until the year he passed. It would be very worth getting!!!!

Lori, my mom had all his albums. I can remember looking through them every Saturday when we'd clean and picking the one I wanted to hear.

John Denver - for over thirty years I have loved him. Even though he is gone - I still love him.

Me too, Tina. He IS my childhood! I remember living in West Virginia when Country Roads came out and I thought he wrote it just for us because we had just moved there (and I was blue about leaving Kentucky).
