Posted - Mar 05 2008 : 10:34:47 PM So the last few days have been a tad bit stressful. My brand new computer with Vista that I got less than 6 month ago decided to have a mind of its own. It stopped working, did all the virus scanning, malware, etc...ended up getting all my important stuff saved in two other places and had to start fresh on my computer.
The bad news is that I lost ALL of my bookmarks for websites. Grr...then again, I would rather have my files, which I do have. Shew. This mess all started right after I downloaded the newest update from Microsoft. Now I'm hesitant of doing anything.
Up and rolling like an ole banjo again...

Posted - Mar 06 2008 : 08:27:44 AM I have never had problems with a computer until I got this one with Vista. I'm always the type that never opens a "forward" email, I keep my virus stuff up to date, keep a clean computer, etc. I need to look up to see if others are having issues with Vista and a recent update. One website that I usually can find help on is www.geekstogo.com . Usually I can find something on there that someone else has went through and if I ever need help, they are pretty helpful.

Posted - Mar 06 2008 : 06:48:21 AM Grr. Sorry about your computer, Jess!!! I'm just not a fan of technology...I mean, I love to be able to surf the web and find all kindsof wonderful things, but when it's broken...well, I just don't care to fix it all that much.

Posted - Mar 06 2008 : 04:13:11 AM Thanks for the heads up Jessica. I just received a prompt that an update from Microsoft was ready to be uploaded and I was wondering whether to do so.... |
