gurlz . .i done went to bed .. and got up again!

honey hunk and i are home from our little 'fun in the sun' vacation-ette!

i'll be writing all about it on my 'blog' .. but jus' wanted to tell ya'll what fun we had! flew to ft. lauderdale then went to miami and spent the night (had lotsa' fun that evenin'!) ... caught a 'cruise line' for a week .. sailed the caribbean sea .. stopped at jamaica and grand cayman islands ... MORE FUN! a week later we were back in miami and then to ft. lauderdale where we rented a car and visited the EVERGLADES .. then travelled the 125 mile strip of many florida 'keys' .. and 'bridges' (over 40 of them .. including one that is 7 miles long!) .. ending up in KEY WEST .. WOWZER! what a fun time that was!!! spent the night in the SOUTHERNMOST HOUSE in the United States .. almost sleepin' IN the atlantic ocean! what a fun, devine place! but oh my GOSH! what an incredibly expensive place to visit (had to dip in the grandchildren's college funds for that one!!!) next evening back up to 'the mainland' .. and more EVERGLADES! great weather the whole time (well, except for one SEA SICK day!!!) TWELVE FOOT WAVES!!!

the whole time was delightful .. but as always .. it's great to be 'back home'. xo, frannie

good morning gurlfrenz .. and thanks for the cheery welcome home! oh my yes, sue .. we sure did see hemingway's home and his many, many zillion-toed cats! also harry truman's key west white house .. there is SO much to see on this little island .. honey hunk and i are definitely gonna' do a 'do-over'!! xo

will try and post pics and stories on my blog sometime this week .. will let ya'll know when it is up there.

might be 'boring' at times .. i sometimes tend to keep a 'moment by moment' journal of adventures ..and this one is pretty 'calm' compared to some .. but the whole idea was some R&R in the sun together! xo
