Posted - Sep 05 2005 : 5:16:50 PM We had such a lovely day today. My hubby, Stephanie, and I went to Missy's (my oldest daughter) for lunch. We made homemade ice cream for dessert -- it was so good.
Afterwards Missy and I walked down to the coop to see the goats and chickens. I always have to go visit "the girls" when I go to her house. We let the chickens and ducks out to free range for a while and we sat on a bench and watched them. The hubbys were in the house napping, the kids were playing and Missy & I had a whole hour by ourselves.
How wonderful it was to just sit and let my spirit and soul be still after the rough week that it has been. Just wanted to share with you all and hope that some of the peace I felt today will be passed to you!
