My DH & I lost a good friend yesterday. We had to put down our 9 1/2 yr. old lab. It has been a rough weekend. He was our baby. (We have no children so we spoil our dogs.) He was a great companion for us & my DH's best hunting buddy. We will miss him alot.
Just had to get this off my chest.
Thanks,
Erin

Erin,

Any of us who have had pets for any amount of time have been there, too and we feel your pain. Hopefully, the good memories you have will bring smiles through the tears.

Erin,
I'm so sorry. I can't bear to think of saying goodbye to my babies, but I know the day will come. Thinking of you.

Erin

I'm so sorry... I know what a void can be felt when (your good friend) leaves you. My Miss Morgan (4# yorkie) is like my child..she's just an adorable creature. I pray everyday for her to live a very long life because I know how heartwrenching it will be when she is gone.

You are in my thoughts and wishing for this painful event to subside. Dogs are such loyal companions and it truly is like loosing a family member.

Peace to you, Stephanie

Erin, I am very, very sorry. We are going through the same thing right now. Jazmine, our 11 1/2 yr old rottie has bone cancer in her leg (that we know of)We found out the first week of January, and really started talking this weekend that her quality of life is starting to suffer. We'll be making the trip to the vet soon. So, though we're not there quite yet, I do sympathize with you and send you a big hug!

Erin, sorry to hear about your Lab. We feel the same way about our pets too as we don't have children. Our golden is 11 and we know there's probably not a lot of time left. We spoil her quite a bit too. I hope the memory of the time you all had helps the healing.

(((Hugs)))
