Posted - Feb 25 2008 : 03:00:38 AM I got an email supposedly from my son and opened it. It asked me to download something so that we could talk in real time. It actually was pretty cute. But my son didn't send it. It came to his 'puter and since I was in his addy book, then on to mine. I stopped the download and when I got a confirming email, I marked it as spam. I have AVG but it still got in. The email was from IMVU. For a little while, I couldn't connect to the internet but not sure if this virus was the reason.
It has flooded my sons puter that it almost collapsed but he has been able to scrub it out pretty well. There is also another virus that if you open it, it will make your puter work harder than it should and it will melt the insides of your puter. So be careful where you navigate and what you open.
