Posted - Feb 22 2008 : 09:25:58 AM Ok so just when I think I have kicked this fever, its back. What can I do to nip it in the butt? Any natural/home remedies? I'm drinking liquids left and right and sleeping.

Posted - Feb 22 2008 : 09:55:37 AM When I have a fever I usually take a lot of baths as it seems to help regulate my body temperature on the skin without destroying the infection fighting fever. If it gets too high, you could always take a dose of Tylenol. But if you run a fever for too long- you might want to go to the doctor. I had a Urinary Tract Infection once that was asymptomatic meaning I didn't have the burning feeling that you normal have with UTI's. The doctor said my infection was so advanced by the time I went in, that I was only 6 hours away from having to be hospitalized. I was running a 104.1 degree temperature by the time we got to the doctor.
Hope you feel better soon!

Posted - Feb 22 2008 : 09:51:17 AM How long have you had the fever? Apparently your body is still fighting something. Do you have any other symptoms. (No, I'm not a doctor. I just play one on the internet.)

Posted - Feb 22 2008 : 09:40:00 AM A bath with lavender oil in it will also do wonders! Very good at reducing or breaking fevers. And you'll smell purty too!
